Square-Enix president and CEO Mike Fischer has left the Japanese company. After nearly three years with the developer/publisher, Fischer departed for a vice president position at Amazon Japan's Digital Music and Video division.Following the company's recent revision of its business, president Yoichi Wada stepped down in April. Fischer told Polygon he departed the company amicably.
Fischer previously worked with Microsoft, SEGA, and Namco. What could this mean for the company in the future. Only time will tell!
